An Australian charity organisation approached Tech Active, to help them build a private blockchain-driven donor management software that is more efficient, secure, and transparent.
Tech Active decided to use a private blockchain network using hyperledger fabric to develop a custom donor management CRM solution that provides secure, transparent, and tamper-proof record-keeping of the entire donor information. Using blockchain, donors could create and manage their own digital identity that is linked to their donation history.
An automated donation process was developed using smart contracts. Payment gateways have been integrated into the system, enabling donors to make donations securely and efficiently. In order to ensure compatibility on mobile, we developed an enterprise mobile app using React Native to collect and process donations. Tech Active also developed a reporting system that provides insights into their donor behaviour and engagement.
Thus, the charity is now able to collect and process donations with high levels of compliance and transparency and manage donor information in a safer manner.
